BRITTANY MULLAN, AMFT
Brittany Mullan is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about making mental health care accessible to everyone. With extensive experience providing individual and group therapy, she has worked with adults, teens, and families. Before joining TLA Therapy, Brittany developed her skills at the DBT Center of The South Bay, offering comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy in a supportive group environment.
Brittany’s commitment to understanding those facing significant challenges has shaped her career. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including an internship at an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program, where she provided psychotherapy to individuals dealing with homelessness, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. This experience deepened her empathy and belief in the transformative power of compassionate care.
Her areas of expertise include supporting teens struggling with self-harm and suicidal thoughts, individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and those navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and difficult life transitions. Brittany employs evidence-based approaches that empower her clients to find their path to healing and resilience.
Graduating from the California Institute of Integral Studies with a degree in Integral Counseling Psychology, Brittany blends contemplative practices with therapeutic techniques. This holistic approach helps create a safe space where clients can explore their challenges and tap into their inner wisdom.
Driven by a passion for social justice, Brittany believes that mental health care is a fundamental human right.
