KERRY LUO, ASW
Kerry Luo is an Associate Social Worker who has experience providing individual and group therapy services to adolescents, adults, and families. Prior to working at TLA, she worked at Family Services of Santa Monica and the Torrance Unified School District, where she provided therapeutic services to individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Kerry approaches therapy as a healing space for individuals to show up authentically and empower themselves. She has experience working with children of immigrants and first generation Americans who feel they need a place for their unique, intersectional experiences to be validated and explored. She has training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Expressive Arts Therapy (EAT), Narrative Therapy (NT) and Problem-Solving Therapy (PST). Kerry earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from USC and her Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from New York University.
