Lindsay Rickel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Co-Founder of TLA Therapy. Prior to working full-time at TLA, Lindsay provided
individual, group and family therapy in a variety of treatment settings, including the Partial Hospitalization Program at UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, the UCLA David Geffen School of
Medicine Behavioral Wellness Center and the Camden Center. Lindsay has completed training in various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), DBT for Complex PTSD, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Intensive Short-term Psychodynamic Therapy (ISTDP), Cognitive Behavioral Social Skills Training (CBSST) for psychosis, Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT), Motivational Interviewing, Perinatal Mood Disorders and Problem-Solving Therapy. Lindsay earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Northwestern University.
